About Me

I'm a happy, if reluctant, midlifer living the single life in Central Florida. The mother of four grown daughters, a keen observer of humanity, and a candid humorist, I understand the challenges of midlife and the sometimes complicated journey to figuring out what's next.

I've always been interested in personal growth and renewal. I like the idea that I can direct my focus and energy toward the things I enjoy now, instead of standing in the parental roles of disciplinarian, rules enforcer, and road warrior as I ferried my kids from one event to the next. Thankfully, my children have children of their own, and I get the rich reward of my extended family's laughter and hugs.

As older women, we've learned to share our experiences with other women in a way we couldn't when we were younger. Many of us didn't even know how. Now we can see how we've grown and changed, and how we can be even better than we ever thought we could. We just need direction, encouragement, and sometimes a little help from our friends.

It's never too late is a mantra that still rings true for midlifers. We are in a unique position to renew, rejuvenate, and reinvent — because we can! I hope you'll share your thoughts and insights here with me as we face a bright future because, ladies, we are still rockin' it!
